It all started 30 years ago (in the same building as today) as a mom and pop shop... Literally. James and Sharon Donohue started the business in 1983 as a means to provide custom signage to the public in the Louisville area. Before you know it things were booming and the company began to open up two other shops in the area. Although the company was rapidly growing they still continued to represent their tag line "Where Quality and Professionalism come Together".​

 

After the parents have decided to retire from the family business they allowed their two sons to continue to operate and grow the business. Michael and Chip O'Bryan have taken over the family business and continue to operate in the same place they did 30 years ago. Even though the company changed hands it was nothing new for the two sons. Both sons had been working in the shop since they were around 10 years old. Donohue Signs combines the old time feel with the new age printing technology.
